Institute for Global and Strategic Studies (IGSS) is a research center that operates under the auspices of the Department of International Relations, Universitas Islam Indonesia. IGSS was officially formed in July 2021 with the aim of contributing to society and the country through research, training and workshops, as well as community service activities based on Islamic and Indonesian values. IGSS is supported by researchers from the Department of International Relations who have extensive expertise such as diplomacy, political economy, religions and international relations, Islamic politics, social and various regions of the world. In carrying out its activities, IGSS hopes to synergize with various stakeholders from the academic world, the government circles, NGOs and other institutions.

Research and Publication

Carrying out research on various topics in international relations, both in the forms of independent research and collaboration with other institutions.

Training and Workshops

Organising various forms of training and workshops, for students, policy makers, non-governmental organizations, journalists, and the general public.

Community Engagement

Actively involved in increasing knowledge and understanding of international relations issues to the global community through popular publications, opinions/interviews, public discussions, and research sharing.
