We examine globalisation, human security, global political economy, environmental politics, transnationalism, international politics, human rights, foreign policy making, identity politics, political systems and institutions. These issues are critically analysed in both domestic and international contexts.

Muhammad Zulfikar Rakhmat is a senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations, Universitas Islam Indonesia. His areas of research focus on the political economy of China-Indonesia-Middle East relations.
